About the Little Free Library
Our Little Free Library was made by our daughter Carson and her grandfather Daryl last Christmas in Joplin, MO. Daryl also registered the library on the official Little Free Library website. You can look us up using our charter number. After transporting the library home from Joplin, Carson spent many months working on the artwork that is all over the library. Carson did all of the drawings by hand and she and Misty did all of the painting.
So, “How Does It Work?”
Simple… stop by any time and “check-out” as many books as you would like! When you are finished reading the book, just bring it back. If you have a book that you think our community would enjoy, feel free to add it to the collection.
Who Is the Library For?
The library is for everyone! This is our community and we truly love living here and the many new friends we have made.
Where Is the Library Located?
Behind the home in Longview on the golf cart path.
The Dog…
Yes, our boxer, Murph believes it is his duty to protect our home from all who ride by… We promise you that he is ALL BARK and NO BITE! We are sorry if he barks at you but rest assured that he cannot jump over our fence and even if he could he wouldn’t know what to do with himself.
Check back often, as the library is updated with new books regularly.
